Opportunities For Teachers and Administrators

 

Virtual Summer Institute 2021

Over three weeks in June 2021, the Indiana Writing Project is offering an online summer institute on the teaching of writing at all levels and in all disciplines. Join with other teachers this summer to develop your own skills as a teacher-writer while exploring pedagogies, policies, and research about writing instruction. Dates: June 14-16, June 22-24, June 29-July1

Inservice Workshops and Training

Teachers who have completed the project's summer institute and additional preparation are available for presentations, workshops, and inservices for schools or school districts. Just contact IWP and describe your needs. Possiblities include study groups, portfolios, authentic assessment, writing across the curriculum, process writing, reading/writing workshops, and the writing portion of ISTEP.

IWP Teaching Consultants can also contact IWP if they are interested in offering programs like this.

Opportunities For Our Teacher Consultants
Roundtable Meetings

All IWP Teacher Consultants are invited to attend our Roundtable Meetings to talk about writing and teaching, as well as to occasionally talk about Writing Project business. Currently, we meet over Zoom on the second Thursday of every month. Contact iwp@bsu.edu for details.
